Yes, if the wire and the plan allow it, and both are decided before you move in. At South Flagler House the internet arrives through a provider the developer chose, often under a bulk contract paid inside the monthly budget, and the office is a den or a spare bedroom the floor plan already drew. Here is how to read the connection, the signal, the room and the quiet before contract, and what to ask for in writing.
This page is a framework. Whether the building suits you is a separate conversation. Contact the desk at Miami Dossier for the current position on any building we cover.
A new tower is wired once, during construction, by the carriers the developer let in. Many new Miami buildings sign a bulk agreement: one provider serves every home, the cost sits in the association budget as a single line, and an owner pays it whether they use it or not. The agreement has a term and a renewal the board decides later. Ask for the provider at South Flagler House, the speed promised to each home, whether a second carrier has fibre in the riser, and whether an owner may bring a connection of their own. One wire is one point of failure, and a contract that looks cheap in the budget can be slow at the desk. The homes the wire serves: Park Residences (floors 1 to 3): one- and two-bedroom configurations, about 1,800 to 3,000 square feet of interior space, facing the Norton Sculpture Garden; first-floor homes with private outdoor gardens; approximately 80 percent sold. The building it climbs: Robert A.M. Stern Architects (architecture); Pembrooke and Ives (interiors).

Concrete and impact glass stop a phone signal as well as they stop a storm, so a high floor at South Flagler House can show full bars on the terrace and none at the desk. Some towers install a distributed antenna system that carries the carriers’ signal through the building; others rely on wifi calling. Ask whether one exists and which carriers it serves. Then read the plan: where the telecom closet sits, whether the den has a door and a window, how far it is from the kitchen and the children’s rooms, and whether a bedroom can give up a closet for a desk without an alteration approval. The plans as the developer describes them: The homes are as the dossier records. Where the signal has to reach: 1355 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach; 3.4 acres, 28 storeys, two towers (Park Tower, Lake Tower), private porte-cochere.
A weekday at home at South Flagler House sounds different from a weekend tour. Ask what sits around your line: the elevator machine room, the pool pumps, the trash chute, the garage ramp, the street at eight in the morning, and the site next door for the next two years. Then the power. A building generator carries the life safety systems, and sometimes one outlet in each home; the modem on your desk is rarely on that circuit unless the plan says so, and a small battery of your own is the cheaper answer. Many new towers add a business lounge, a boardroom and a few private offices downstairs; ask the booking rule, the hours and whether they are resident only. What the building lists: Vanishing-edge pool with Lake Worth Lagoon views and private cabanas; 25-metre lap pool, sun-shelf pool, hot tub; sunset terrace; entertainment lounge with catering kitchen; two private dining rooms; wine tasting room with lockers; library and card room; business centre and private offices; fitness centre with Pilates and yoga studios; indoor pickleball; golf simulator; full spa with treatment rooms, salon, vitality pools, ice plunges, steam and saunas; children’s playroom and teen lounge; sports court; media room. The operator behind the service, where there is one: No brand or operator is recorded for this building.
Before contract ask the developer of South Flagler House for six things in writing: the internet provider and the term of the bulk agreement, the speed promised to each home, whether a second carrier is in the riser, whether a distributed antenna system is installed, which outlets the generator carries, and the hours and rules of the shared office. Where the answers are vague, the first budget says more than the sales team. Who answers: Related Ross, led by CEO and Chairman Stephen M. Ross. What was settled at contract, long before the first call: The deposit schedule is held by the desk and read with you before contract.
The trade-off is the view against the signal. The high floor that sells South Flagler House is also the one furthest from the street’s cell sites and most alone when the wire fails; the lower line is nearer the fibre and the carriers and sees less sky. The desk reads the bulk agreement, the plan and the first budget for South Flagler House with you before contract.
The brochure sells the view. The work happens on the wire.
