For the buyer who found the name through the hotels and is now asking what the residences actually are: a first in the United States for the brand, three kinds of home in one Edgewater tower, and an amenity floor given over to longevity.
This page explains. Whether the building suits you is a separate conversation. Contact the desk at Miami Dossier for the current position on any building we cover.
Anantara Residences Miami is the first Anantara residences in the United States: the brand is Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas, part of Minor Hotels, with 60 hotels across 24 countries behind it. The tower is 50 stories, approximately 650 feet, on a two acre site in Edgewater, developed by 1000 Group with Tower 36 Owner, LLC as developer of record, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox with ODP as architect of record and interiors by Studio Patricia Urquiola. Inside one tower sit three kinds of home: about 50 hotel suites, about 120 resort residences of one and two bedrooms, and about 100 condominium residences of three to six bedrooms in quarter, half and full floor forms. The developer publishes an entry price: From $1,800,000, developer published. The dossier carries no delivery date, and this page prints none. The full record is on the Anantara dossier, the diligence read is Anantara Residences Miami: what to know before you buy, and what the brand itself does is read in Anantara: what the brand does.
Both, in one tower, and the split is the first fact to hold. About 50 hotel suites, about 120 resort residences of one and two bedrooms, and about 100 condominium residences of three to six bedrooms share the 50 storeys. Which of the three a buyer is purchasing decides the documents, the use rules and the neighbours: a condominium residence in quarter, half or full floor form is a different holding from a one bedroom resort residence in the same stack. The comparison buyers reach for next, the other branded tower on the same Edgewater shoreline, is set out in Anantara Residences Miami vs Edition Residences Edgewater, and the neighbourhood frame is Anantara and its neighbours in Edgewater on the Edgewater zone hub.
Approximately 130,000 square feet of amenity, of which about 25,000 square feet is private to residents, with about 30,000 square feet of Thai inspired gardens by P Landscape of Bangkok with EDSA, and a rooftop helipad. The figure to read slowly is the private share: in a tower that also carries a hotel and resort residences, the residents' own 25,000 square feet is the part of the program that stays theirs when the hotel is full. The gardens are the brand's signature carried into the landscape, Thai in inspiration, on an Edgewater site at the convergence of the Design District, Wynwood, Midtown and the causeway to the beach.
An entire floor, about 30,000 square feet, across four disciplines: movement, vitality, nutrition, and rest and recovery. The dossier carries it under its own heading, the Vitality Center, and it is the building's wellness argument stated as architecture rather than as a spa room: a full floor of a 50 storey tower given to the four disciplines, inside a building aligned to Florida Green Building standards and to WELL and Fitwel. Inside the homes the same program continues in the specification: Studio Urquiola kitchens with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, floor to ceiling glazing, deep terraces, circadian lighting, and in residence sauna and red light options. What each element costs inside the association budget, and what is carried by the hotel operation, is a documents question the desk reads with the buyer.
1000 Group is the developer, with Tower 36 Owner, LLC named as developer of record. Kohn Pedersen Fox leads the design, Rob Whitlock named as lead designer, with ODP Architects as architect of record; Studio Patricia Urquiola of Milan holds the interiors; P Landscape of Bangkok and EDSA share the landscape. The money mechanics, deposits, delivery and costs, are collected in the Anantara buyer's guide. On delivery the record is plain: the dossier states no delivery date, and a buyer's calendar should be built on the purchase agreement's own dates, read with counsel, not on a sales conversation. The same discipline applies to the brand: Anantara is the hospitality name on the building, part of Minor Hotels, and the licence and management terms that bind it to the residences sit in the documents, where the desk reads them before the reservation.
